1. My son is 15 years old, but does not know how to build a website. Can he come for the workshop?
     Yes. 
 
2. Do I have to sit in the class with my child?
You could just drop off your child and pick him or her up after the class. But for younger children, you can sit in if you want. In fact, I would strongly encourage sitting in with your child, as doing things together can help foster relationships and build bonds. Plus you get to learn for free!
 
3. Are you sure that we can build a website in less than 5 hours?
Yes. In fact your child will walk away from the workshop with a website that is live on the Internet after the class.
 
4. What do I need to bring?
You just need a laptop that has Wi-Fi capability, a mouse and the charger for your laptop battery. Notes and step-by-step instructions are provided but you could also bring along a pen to take notes and a water bottle. Bring along a jacket too as the classroom may be cold sometimes.
 
5. What happens if I have need help after the workshop?
Don’t worry, I will not leave my students stranded after the class.  You can refer to the step-by-step notes that I provide. I'm also offering your child a lifetime re-sit for the class if he needs.
 
6. Will you be conducting more advanced workshops in future?
Yes, if there is enough interests.
 
7. Will my child be able to write well after the workshop?
As with any language skill, practice makes perfect. Although I have given a general framework for writing essays or stories, he/she needs to practice often in order to be good at it. Getting your child to write is a by-product of creating a website. Hopefully, by giving your child an ownership to a website, it will spark his interest to further his writing skills through blogging.
 
8. How many participants are there in a class?
I try to keep my class small so that every children will have my attention. A class has typically around 10 participants.
 
9. Will I learn how to make money with the website?
No. The intention of this course is to get your child on the momentum and spark his interest in writing. Website monetization is an advanced blogging method which is not covered in this basic course.
